Official tickets. The Belvedere sells its tickets on its own website, belvedere.at, and at the ticket offices of each venue. The adult ticket for the Upper Belvedere, where Klimt’s The Kiss hangs, costs 23 euros, according to the pages we read on 22 October 2026.

Book tickets and tours →The cards on this page are a different product. They are tickets and guided tours sold by our partner Tiqets, a third party. Official ticket for the Upper Belvedere: 23 euros. Ticket via Tiqets: 23 euros at the time of writing, with an instant mobile ticket and cancellation up to 24 hours before your time slot, according to Tiqets. We are not the Belvedere, and Tiqets is not the Belvedere either.
What do the official prices cover?
| Ticket | Adult | Over 65 and students under 26 | Under 19 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Upper Belvedere | 23 euros | 19 euros | Free |
| Lower Belvedere | 20 euros | 16 euros | Free |
| Belvedere 21 | 12 euros | 8 euros | Free |
| 2 in 1 (Upper and Lower Belvedere) | 32 euros | 25 euros | Free |
| 3 in 1 (all three venues) | 34 euros | 27 euros | Free |
The Belvedere shows a single price of the day, with no difference between online and ticket office that we could find. The 3 in 1 ticket costs only 2 euros more than the 2 in 1, which makes Belvedere 21 an almost free extra, but that venue is closed until 4 November 2026. With the Vienna City Card the single tickets cost 1.50 euros less. A Disability Card brings the Upper Belvedere to 8 euros, and a companion enters free if the card says so.
Who pays less, and who enters free?
Children and young people under 19 enter free, still with a time slot. Reduced prices are for over 65s and students under 26 and need a photo ID: the Belvedere says there is no legal claim to a discount, and a ticket bought with an unjustified discount is not valid. The Gold Pass, at 49 euros, gives unlimited entry to the three venues for a year without a time slot. Holders of the Gold Pass, the Bundesmuseen Card, the Vienna Pass or the Flexi Pass enter directly with an ID.
How do I buy and enter?
Choose a time slot online: with an online ticket you can go directly to the entrance, while at the ticket office you may have to queue. The ticket arrives by e-mail as a PDF or a QR code for your phone. The Belvedere does not sell tickets by phone. Coats, umbrellas, backpacks and bags go to the cloakroom, where lockers are free.
Official tickets are not refundable or changeable, and the order is binding once you send it. You can pass a ticket on once to another person before the first entry. Check the opening hours before you choose a date.
What are the tickets sold by Tiqets?
Tiqets is a ticket marketplace and our partner. At the time of writing its adult tickets cost the same as the official ones: 23 euros for the Upper Belvedere, 20 euros for the Lower Belvedere and 12 euros for Belvedere 21, with no booking fee. What the Tiqets listing adds is the instant mobile ticket and cancellation up to 24 hours before the time slot (before the day for Belvedere 21), while the Belvedere does not refund or change tickets. What it does not add is an audio guide, a guide or any extra access compared with the official ticket.
The Belvedere says on its site that it takes no responsibility for counterfeit, overpriced or unlawfully transferred tickets from unauthorised platforms. We did not find a list of its authorised partners on the pages we read, so read the terms on the Tiqets product page. Our tickets page lists the options with live prices.
Guided tours
The Belvedere offers its own guided tours of about an hour, such as a highlights tour of the Upper Belvedere and one on Klimt and his time: 5 euros on top of the 23-euro entry ticket, in the programme we read for 25 October 2026. The language of these tours is not stated on the German pages we read, so check the English event pages.
Tiqets sells two group tours of 2 hours that include entry to the Upper Belvedere: one in English, one in English or Spanish, both with the gardens and both not suitable for wheelchairs, according to Tiqets. The gardens are free to enter anyway. These tours have few reviews, so read the product page carefully.
Which option should I choose?
If you want the simplest way to pay the official price, buy on the official site. A Tiqets ticket makes sense if you want the possibility to cancel up to 24 hours before, an instant mobile ticket or a guided tour, or if you simply prefer to buy through them. Whichever you pick, read how to get there so you arrive on time for your slot.
